Wednesday, September 30 - Calligraphy Class #2 with DeAnn Singh From 7 to 9. Sign up for 10 week session for $200.00 or you can sign up for 6 week session for $120.00. DeAnn works with each student and you can choose which Calligraphy you want to learn. You can also check DeAnn website at http://www.desgningletters.com/.

Friday, October 2 - Stampin' Cafe' Night from 6:30 to 9:00. Bring your supplies and your project and come on in, we'll have some fun together.

Saturday, October 3 - Beautiful Butterfly Book with Jessica Hollowell From 10:30 to 3:30. Cost of this class is $50.00. Come and share Jessica's love for butterflies as you make a special altered book that will feature collage images, stamps, decorative paper, ephemera of all kinds and other surprises. This is one you won't want to miss. Supply List: glue sticks, red line tape, scissors, rubber gloves, double side tape. Don't forget to bring a snack or lunch.

Wednesday, October 7 - Calligraphy Class #3 with DeAnn Singh from 7 to 9. You cab learn Copperplate, Italics or some other wonderful form of Calligraphy. At some point , DeAnn has promised to show us Illuminated Letters.

Thursday, October 8 - Canvas Pocket Book with Kelly Kilmer from 6:30 to 8:30. The cost is $55.00. In two hours, you will paint, scrub, lather, and layer acrylics learning several new techniques as you go. You will assemble a small square journal from scratch with a wrap around canvas cover. Kelly loves the size and the feel of this book. The size is user friendly, not overwhelming and inviting for anyone to use! There's lots of painting in this class so make sure you wear your apron and come prepared to have fun and get messy! Supply list - scissors, bone folder cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black ink pad, container to hold water, 3 1" brushes to paint with (Kelly like chip or bristle brushes).

Friday, October 9 - Make - N - Take with Jessica Hollowell from 6:30 to 8:30. It is $5.00 per project. If you want to have a good time and maybe learn a new technique come on in.

Saturday, October 10 - It's here!!! Extravaganza from 9 to 5. Cost is $85.00. Breakfast is at 9 and the first set of classes starts at 9:45, lunch will be from 1 to 1:45, next set of classes starts at 2. We all have a great time learning new techniques, breaking bread with one another, getting our goody bags, winning prizes and enjoying ourselves. So call and make your reservation and when you do let us know if you want a red bag or a black bag.

Wednesday, October 14 - Calligraphy Class #4 with DeAnn Singh from 7 to 9. Note: There will be a book signing sometime this month with DeAnn and Marci who have just completed and published their joint-effort Calligraphy Book.

Thursday, October 15 - ATC Club From 6:30 to 8:30. Cost is $10.00. Jessica brings materials for each of the members to make 2 ATCs. Each member brings 6 to 8 ATC to swap with other members. Come on in and check it out.

Saturday, October 17 - TBA with Mike Strong from 10:30 to 4. Cost is $30.00 for each class (1st class is The Four Seasons from 10:30 to 12:30 & 2nd class is All New Ikebana from 2 to 4). In this class you will create an 8" x 11" book with a quick and easy stitch, finished off with an embellished spine! We will explore hands on new mixed media techniques on the pages involving paints paper and more! Been saving a stash of favorite images? Itching to make a new unique book? then this is the class for you! Supply List - scissors, small selection of favorite collage, ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of wax paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black ink pad, container to hold water, 3 1" brushes to glue and paint (i like chip or bristle brushes). Saturday, October 24 - 3 Book Gift Class with Wendy Poma from 10:30 to 2:30. Cost is $40.00. In this class you will be making 3 little book that will make wonderful little " thinking of you gifts during the holidays. These are really really wonderful little books.

Sunday, October 25 - TBA - Lori Lai from 12:15 to 4:15. Cost of the class is $50.00. Supplies List - for this class: small "x"- xyron sticker maker (if you own one), paper piercer, foam mounting tape, double sided tape, bone folder, pencil/eraser, scissors, adhesive Runner tape(such as Mono adhesive) or any other Basic Supplies Kit.

Thursday, October 29 - Art from the Heart Club From 6:30 to 8:30. We had several new people at the first meeting and we are just beginning to reform the club so, we would love to have more new people and more ideas and demonstrations. So, if you're looking for a crafty club and want to get started with some new beginnings (even though the club has been around since 2001) come on in and join us.

Reminder the Extravaganza is coming up very soon it's schedule for October 10. The teachers will be Linda Forrest with Ellie Shaw (co-teacher), Jessica Hollowell, Lori Lai, Gayle Smith. Will have stamping Cuttle bugging and who know what all else. Our Limit is 20 people so, sign up early. The cost will be $85.00. When you sign up let us know if you want a red or black tote bag. Remember breakfast and lunch is part of this day, and we'll also have some drawing.

ALL IS WELL FINALLY!

Hi

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth my email at hotmail is finally straightened out and I can now get back into it and you can email me at the original account. It turned out that I not only had to reset the password for email, but facebook and blog as well. But it is all done and we are set. Thank you for all your emails and concerns regarding the account being scammed.

And for all your concern, as my way of saying thank you, we are having a "Back to Crafting" sale starting Wednesday, September 9. There has been a change--all merchandise in the shop is 50% off. This will be an indefinite amount of time so shop early.

EMAIL ACCOUNT SCAMMED

As most of you know, last Tuesday my email account was scammed. I have been trying to change the password and have been unsuccessful. The only thing we can figure out is that whoever scammed my email account changed my password and my secret question before I could.

If you receive any mail from stampinheart@hotmail.com , be aware that it is not me. Be very careful about opening the email and absolutely do not send any money or correspondence that they might ask for.

Hope to hear from you and be very watchful from any correspondence coming from hotmail.

HOTMAIL ACCOUNT SCAMMED

Hi Everybody--

This morning around 9AM my hotmail account was scammed. If you receive a message stating that I (Karen) am in England attending a seminar and lost my wallet. Please send me $2500 to bring me back to the states and pay my hotel bill--disregard. I am not in England and did not loose my wallet.

I have contacted hotmail and we should have this taken care of--thank you for all that have contacted me this morning.
